The Cullinan Diamond discovered in 1905 weighing in at an eye-popping 3106ct !!
This famous diamond was polished into nine major gems and 96 smaller gems. The largest diamond of these is the Great Star of Africa (530.20ct) and now resides in the Royal Sceptre in the Tower of London.
The second largest part is the Lesser Star of Africa (317.40ct) and is mounted in the Imperial StateCrown of England.
More recently, The Cullinan Dream (24.18ct) was discovered in 2014 and then polished and sold for a world record breaking US$25,325,000 in New York on 9 June 2016 - the largest and most valuable fancy Intense blue diamond ever auctioned.
